Thanks to the YMCA
Our community partner, the Eugene Family YMCA, provides Nightingale residents with a special group membership to use the facilities for showers and exercise.  We are extremely grateful for this special accommodation.  Most of our residents now us the Eugene Family YMCA facilities.  Thank you, YMCA!

Parson’s gift
The family of Patricia “Pat” Parsons has made substantial financial contributions to Nightingale in her memory.  Pat was a quiet, humble, and thoughtful woman, a much-loved wife, mother and grandmother, a good friend and an outstanding fiber artist.  Board Member, Mary Kay White, calls her a dear friend and quilting buddy of many years.  George Parsons has also gifted us one of her fabulous quilts and it will be proudly displayed in her honor at Nightingale.  “Pat’s Kitchen” will soon be ready to open at our site – a fully operational, enclosed kitchen – where we will continue Pat’s legacy of warmth, kindness and hospitality.

South Eugene Neighbors Association (SEN)
The South Eugene Neighbors Association is a valuable community partner helping support NHS.  NHS participated in the annual SEN picnic and gathering at Tugman Park in September.  NHS also participated in the SEN Board meetings in September and November, sharing updates about NHS residents and upcoming camp activities.  We greatly appreciate the support our SEN neighbors provide!
